Honest Bites — fresh, preservative-free Indian curry bases and spice blends that help you cook authentic meals in under 15 minutes. We do the prep work, chopping, and slow-cooked flavor building for you. You simply add your favorite protein or vegetables and make it your own. Each kit is thoughtfully portioned for families, frozen fresh to lock in flavor, and designed to give you full control over customization and longer shelf life for meal planning flexibility.
As a tech professional and mom of two, based in Northern Virginia, I know what it’s like to juggle a demanding career and family life. These techniques and recipes are lovingly curated from our family to yours, to simply cooking.
How It Works
1. Meal Kit Details
Each meal kit makes approximately 20–30 oz of curry (serves 3–4), depending on your choice of protein or vegetables. (See FAQ below)

2. Simple Cooking Steps

Heat butter, oil, or ghee in a pan.

Add the dry spice mix and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add your raw protein or vegetables along with a little water. Cook until nearly done. If using pre-cooked protein or vegetables, proceed directly to the next step.

Add the frozen sauce cubes and a little water (or milk for a creamier curry). Cook for 5–7 minutes until the sauce melts and forms a rich, flavorful gravy.

Adjust to taste with salt, sugar, or lemon juice. Add the provided condiments, garnish as desired, and serve. And your homemade Indian meal is ready in minutes!

Along with easy meal preps, we also offer healthy, lip-smacking savory snacks as a better alternatives for tea time and kids’ snack time

Can I only make curries with Honest Bites?
Not at all. You can make both dry-style dishes and gravy curries.
For gravy curries: add more water (or milk/cream) and use up to all 3 cubes.
For dry curries or stir-fry style dishes: use less water and fewer cubes as needed.
Can I make smaller portions instead of meals for 3-4?
Yes — that’s the beauty of Honest Bites! Our sauces come in separate cubes, so you can customize portion sizes easily.
Use all 3 cubes for larger family-style meals (up to ~20–30 oz total dish size).
Use just 1 cube for a quick single-serving meal (~8 oz portion).
Perfect for individuals, couples, or meal prep flexibility.

• Add 1–2 tbsp sugar if the heat feels too strong.
• Pair with potatoes, paneer, or cream-based ingredients to naturally soften spice levels.
